Set up Klar for Rust: remove antivirus and anti-cheats, load Klar before the game, and fix Klar error codes like I2, M1 and VGC.SYS.
Klar is a Rust cheat. Every user gets a custom build of the loader, and Klar includes a kernel-level (ring0) HWID spoofer.
Requirements
Klar supports all versions of Windows 10 and 11, on AMD and Intel processors.
Uninstall every antivirus, including Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton and any other third-party antivirus. In Windows Security, go to Virus & threat protection > Virus & threat protection settings > Manage settings and make them match this image.
Both block Klar from injecting.
Otherwise the game crashes on injection or mid-game.
Install Klar
Download the loader
Download the Klar loader.
Follow Klar's install guide
Follow the steps in Klar's install guide. When you activate your key, remove any spaces from it and leave the Referral field empty. Your key is in your order email and on account.lmarket.net.
Load Klar before the game
Load Klar before you launch Rust. Injecting while the game is open fails.
Troubleshooting
If your error isn't listed, go through the requirements and install steps again.
VGC.SYS
Uninstall Riot Vanguard. If you don't want to, stop it instead: open Command Prompt as administrator, run sc stop vgk, then load Klar again.
BEDAISY.SYS, EASYANTICHEAT.SYS or IJ4
You are injecting while the game is open. Load Klar before you launch the game.
BHDRVS.SYS
Uninstall Norton antivirus.
I2
Something is blocking injection. Uninstall all antiviruses, disable Windows Defender and overlays, and turn off Memory Integrity (Core isolation).
I2 (-1073741637)
- Open Settings > Security > Device security.
- Turn off Memory Integrity.
- Restart your PC and check that Memory Integrity is still off.
- Start the loader again.
I2 (-1073741670)
FACEIT AC is installed on your PC. Uninstall it.
I2 (-1073740285) or a similar code
This comes from the Windows 10/11 update of April 9, 2024. Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates and uninstall KB5036892 or KB5036893. The names can differ, so uninstall every update from April 9 and April 13, 2024, then disable Windows Update so it doesn't reinstall them.
IJ1, IJ5 or IJ8
Go through the requirements and install steps again, then restart your computer.
VCRUNTIME or MSVCP140.DLL
Install vc_redist.x64.exe.
M1 or Debug error 2
This is common on Windows Home. As a temporary fix, restart your PC before every injection. To fix it for good, reinstall Windows as the Pro version.
Loader closes at 100%
Go to Windows Settings > Date and time and press Sync now, then inject Klar again.
Loader says I'm banned
Restart your computer and log in again.
Couldn't find a key
The cheat may be down: check the Klar status page before activating your key. Also remove any spaces from the pasted key and leave the Referral field empty.
Real-time protection won't turn off
Make your Manage settings page match this image. If that doesn't work, turn Defender off with Defender Control.
Infinite loading while requesting updates
Open Network and Sharing Center, choose Ethernet > Properties and make sure the IPv6 protocol is selected. Download the loader again and retry. If it still doesn't work, download the loader again and use a VPN with a server near Germany.
Target didn't respond for 10 seconds
The cheat isn't updated yet. Check the Klar status page.
Error on a Windows Insider build
This error means Windows Insider is installed, which isn't supported. Reinstall a normal Windows version.
Blue screen of death
Open Command Prompt as administrator and run sfc /scannow. When it finishes, run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth, then restart your PC.
