Set up Klar.gg for Apex Legends: prepare Windows, load the cheat before the game, and fix Klar loader error codes such as I2, M1 and VGC.SYS.

Klar.gg is a cheat for Apex Legends. Every user gets a custom build of the Klar loader, and Klar includes a kernel-level HWID spoofer.

Requirements

Supported systems.

Intel or AMD CPU, Windows 10 or 11, version 20H2 or newer. Windows Insider builds are not supported.

Borderless mode.

Run the game in borderless mode. Otherwise it will crash on injection or mid-game.

Prepare your PC

Uninstall antivirus software

Uninstall all antiviruses, including Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton and any other third-party antivirus.

Uninstall other anti-cheats

Uninstall Riot Vanguard and FACEIT from your PC.

Turn off Windows Defender real-time protection

Go to Virus & threat protection > Virus & threat protection settings > Manage settings and make sure it matches Klar's reference image.

If that doesn't work, turn Defender off with Defender Control.

Load the cheat

Check the status

Check the Klar status page before you activate your key. Activating a key for a cheat that isn't working can fail.

Download the loader

Download the Klar loader.

Activate your key

Paste your key with all spaces removed, and leave the Referral field empty. Your key is in your order email and on account.lmarket.net.

Load Klar, then start the game

Load Klar before you launch Apex Legends, then start the game in borderless mode.

Troubleshooting

If your error isn't listed here, make sure you followed every step above.

VGC.SYS

Uninstall Riot Vanguard. If you don't want to uninstall it, stop it instead: open CMD as administrator, type sc stop vgk, then load Klar again.

BEDAISY.SYS, EASYANTICHEAT.SYS or IJ4

You tried to inject while the game was open. Load Klar before launching the game.

BHDRVS.SYS

Uninstall Norton antivirus.

I2

Something is blocking the injection. Uninstall all antiviruses, disable Windows Defender and any overlays, and turn off Memory Integrity under Core isolation.

I2 (-1073741637)

  1. Go to Settings > Security > Device Security.
  2. Turn off Memory Integrity.
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Check that Memory Integrity is still off.
  5. Start the loader again.

I2 (-1073741670)

FACEIT AC is installed on your PC. Uninstall it.

I2 (-1073740285) or a similar code

Caused by the Windows 10/11 update from 9 April 2024. Uninstall it and turn off Windows Update so it doesn't come back:

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates.
  2. Search for KB5036892 or KB5036893 and uninstall them. The names can differ, so uninstall every update from 9 April 2024 and 13 April 2024.
  3. Make sure Windows Update is disabled.

IJ1, IJ5 or IJ8

Redo the steps under Prepare your PC and restart your computer.

VCRUNTIME or MSVCP140.DLL

Install vc_redist.x64.exe.

M1 or DEBUG ERROR 2

A common issue on Windows Home. As a temporary fix, restart your PC before every injection. To fix it permanently, reinstall Windows as Windows Pro.

Loader closes at 100%

Go to Windows Settings > Date and time and press Sync now. Then inject Klar again.

Loader says I'm banned

Restart your computer and log in again.

Couldn't find a key

This can happen when you activate a key for a cheat that isn't working. Check the status page before activating. Also make sure you removed all spaces from the pasted key and left Referral empty.

Loader keeps requesting updates

  1. Open Network and Sharing Center, choose Ethernet > Properties, and make sure the IPv6 protocol is selected.
  2. Download the loader again and retry.
  3. If it still fails, download the loader again and use a VPN with a server near Germany.

Target didn't respond for 10 seconds

The cheat isn't updated yet. Check the status page.

Blue screen of death

Open Command Prompt as administrator and run:

sfc /scannow

When it finishes, run:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Then restart your PC.

Error caused by Windows Insider

Windows Insider builds aren't supported. Reinstall a normal version of Windows.
