# Common Bugs & Fixes

This guide covers the most common issues with TZ and how to fix them.

**Error #0 - TZX Init Window?**

**Error #1 - TZX Can't Resolve HWID?**
1. Restart the computer to resolve temporary issues

3. Run the application as administrator to ensure proper permissions
4. Disable any security software temporarily to avoid interference

**Error #2 - Update TZX or Check If It Is Not Under Maintenance?**
1. Update TZX or check if it's under maintenance
2. Try using a VPN

**Error #3 - Can't Enable Privilege?**
1. Switch to a Windows account with administrative rights
2. Right-click the application and select "Run as administrator"
3. Modify compatibility settings: Right-click > Properties > Compatibility tab > Check "Run this program as an administrator"
4. Ensure [User Account Control (UAC)](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/user-account-control-settings-d5b2046b-dcb8-54eb-f732-059f321afe18) is not blocking the application

**Error #4 - Open TZX Before FiveM?**
1. Close FiveM if it is running before launching TZX
2. Launch TZX first, then open FiveM to avoid process conflicts
3. Check background processes in Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and end any FiveM-related processes
4. Restart your computer to close active processes

Getting started with TZ

1.  Purchase a key from our [official store](https://docs.tzproject.com/tz-project/how-to-purchase/official-store) or one of our [resellers](https://docs.tzproject.com/tz-project/how-to-purchase/resellers).
    
2.  Once you get the key register an account on our [website](https://tzproject.com/).
    
3.  Go to your [account page](https://tzproject.com/account) and press "Redeem Code", paste the key you bought into the text box and press the checkmark.

2.  Go to your [account page](https://tzproject.com/account) and press "Download Software", choose TZ.
    
3.  Unzip the TZ.zip file.
    
4.  Make sure Steam is running
    
5.  Run the chrome.exe file inside the TZ folder.
    
6.  Wait until in says "You can open the game ...".
    
7.  Open Fivem.
    
8.  A menu will pop up where you will log in using your TZ Project credentials.
